During the 8th internatioanl scientific symposium of IOC/WESTPAC during March 26-30, 2011 in Busan, Korea, Prof Somkiat, Prof. Tangang and Prof. Fangli Qiao discussed the joint observation in the summer of 2011. The three sides agreed to carry out two joint cruises in summer 2011, one in the gulf Thailand and one in the Malay Peninsula Eastern continental shelf.
